The Breakthrough Project’s Board of Management
In accordance with The Breakthrough Project’s constitution the Board will be made up of a minimum of 3 members but limited to 10 unless a decision is made to increase this.
Current Board members:
Jonathan Murphy, Trustee & Chairperson
With diverse experience in a variety of sectors from carpentry to web-design, Jonathan’s current position is as Head of Pricing and Systems for a large Dublin-based retailer. He will use this range of experiences in his role as Trustee and Chairperson as he oversees the financial components of The Breakthrough Project.
Cliona McNeela, Trustee & Secretary
Cliona has worked as a post-primary Home Economics and Gaeilge teacher in the local community for the past 8 years. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she has recently been promoted to Programmes Coordinator and is a member of the school’s senior management team. Cliona has a passion for equality of opportunity in education and has helped many local students realise their academic potential over the past number of years. She is looking forward to further promoting the educational progression of students in Ringsend, Irishtown and Pearse Street in her role as Trustee and Secretary of the Breakthrough Project.
Kyle Graham, Trustee
Kyle is a past pupil of Ringsend College and a current 3rd Year Zoology Student in Trinity College Dublin. From Ringsend, Kyle progressed to 3rd level as a student of the Trinity Access Programme. As the first person in his family to attend university, Kyle understands first-hand the barriers that many local students face as they attempt to access 3rd level education. Kyle is a firm advocate for access to higher education and he’s delighted to be able to continue this advocacy as Trustee of The Breakthrough Project.
